Responsibilities:
- Process all payroll transactions efficiently.
- Collect, calculate, and enter data to maintain and update payroll information.
- Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages, and report on these.
- Determine payroll liabilities by calculating employee income, social insurance deductions, unemployment, and workers’ compensation payments.
- Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
- Handle all administrative tasks within the payroll department.
- Create employee letters upon request (banks, employment letters, experience letters, and HR letters) and follow up with authorized persons for signature.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience (1-2 years).
- Strong math skills with the ability to spot numerical errors.
- Good knowledge of labor legislation.
