Job Purpose:
To bridge technical expertise with customer needs by designing/modifying water treatment solutions, driving sales through technical advisory, and maintaining client relationships to achieve business targets.
Core Responsibilities:
Technical Sales & Client Support (70%)
- Analyze customer requirements to tailor water treatment solutions (drinking/wastewater)
- Conduct on-site technical presentations and troubleshoot application issues
- Maintain CRM/ERP systems with client interactions, visits, and service records
Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%)
- Liaise with proposals, design, and operations teams to align solutions with client needs
- Coordinate with billing departments to streamline payment processes
- Update teams on environmental regulations impacting product compliance
Market Intelligence (10%)
- Monitor industry trends and competitor technologies
- Build client database for targeted business development
Qualifications & Competencies:
Education:
- Bachelor’s in chemical engineering/Chemistry (preferred)
Experience:
- 1-3 years as Application Engineer in water treatment/chemical services
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in water/wastewater treatment processes
- Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems
Soft Skills:
- Problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Customer-centric communication (English fluency)
- Valid driving license for client visits
Work Environment:
- Hybrid (Office + Field) with 60% client-facing activities
